‘Tis the season of change. The leaves are changing colors in all of their grandeur, the weather is getting colder as the forecast of snow looms on the horizon, and a new U.S. President will be elected this November. So, it’s only natural that our Breckenridge hotel follows suit as change is afoot with the hiring of our newest Guest Services Manager, Brad Ragan. Please help the Wedgewood Lodge welcome Brad to the team.
A Minnesota native, Brad moved to Breckenridge 13 years ago after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising from Iowa State University and hasn’t looked back since. While he still hangs true to his roots as a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan, he and his wife, two dogs, two cats and three goldfish are proud to call Colorado home. During his time in Breckenridge, Brad has worked in a variety of management and supervisory roles in positions at Breckenridge Sports, Village Voice Media, the Breckenridge Golf Club, and most recently as the Assistant Front Desk Manager at Grand Timber Lodge.
“We did not know we were missing part of our Wedgewood family until we met Brad,” said General Manager Andee Skinner. “We’re so pleased that he feels the same way.”
Brad fits in extremely well with the aforementioned family as he values his work/life balance perhaps more than most. In his spare time he loves to travel (over 15 different countries in the past eight years), play golf, snowboard, and see live music every chance he can get. Brad and his wife, Heidi, are also extremely excited to welcome their first child into the world in January 2017. (update 2019: and their second in December, 2019!)
