Nordic Skiing 

More than 5 millennia ago, Scandinavians strapped on skinny skis as a way for transportation during the long winter season. This was a way of transportation between the villages. Snow shoeing was created most likely by Native Americans and those in Central Asia. There are many beautiful trails for snowshoeing. The Nordic Center offers 40 kilometers of groomed trails. Both activities ensure great exercise and connection with nature.

Sledding

This fun, free activity is sure to offer a great time for the entire family.  Take a break from skiing and head to Carter Park – you will hear kids and adults alike laughing and having a great time!

Dog Sledding
